Portuguese Policy agenda project:

Party pledges, media, public opinion and legislation

The Portuguese policy agendas project focuses on policy attention in Portugal from 1986 up to now. The project members are currently in the process of applying for funding, and PhD students in Communication, Public Policy and Political Science have already started collecting data’s in a coherent fashion. Together with coding specific items, this project hopes to create synergies and collaboration between the Policy Agenda Project on the one hand and two international networks (Comparative Party Pledges Group; the Pew Project for the Excellence in Journalism) to which some of the project members belong on the other hand.
